It was then used as the city Square when it became famous and the Texas army made a last stand there. Afterwards it became a army post back in the 1800s and some soldiers carved things into the walls.We’re standing in front of the statue of Daniel Boone. Both mom and I came away feeling like it was a silly thing to be looking for diamonds in that field. But apparently people do find enough to make it worthwhile.
